Unicef Day 1st February, 2017
Today we carried out some special activities relating to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child or UNCRC. We all had the opportunity to choose which room we went to and worked on different Rights and activities. Some people created their own powerpoint presentations demonstrating different Rights, others made pictures, learned to make origami boats, wrote their own raps or read a story entitled Razia's Ray of Hope. Today we were reminded of the fact that the UNCRC is for all children throughout the world and that richer countries, like ours have a responsibility to teach and educate poorer countries so that all children can have their rights fulfilled and that all people can live a full and happy life. We hope you enjoy looking at our photographs which show some of the great fun and learning we got up to today. We had great fun making freeze frames, power points and mouse mats of different rights.
