What’s fabulous show last night at The Garage Theatre in Monaghan. P5 from our school along with St Marys Primary School Aughnacloy and St Mary’s Primary school Glaslough, put on a very “hard hitting” drama about the use of mobile phones and online devices in this modern age. The children have been working with Brian McMahon - B Dramatic, from the Bardic Theatre in Donaghmore for the past 10 weeks. What an opportunity it was for the children to perform on a real stage.
A hugh thank you to Edel Mullen- Connecting Families Officer from Monaghan Intergrated Development, who funded the programme and who treated the children to their lunch in the Hillgrove Hotel in Monaghan yesterday- what a well deserved treat! Thank you to Mr Clarke and Emma, who accompanied the children and who gave up their time to attend last night- and to all of our P5 parents, grandparents and siblings who came last night to support their children. What an opportunity they have all had- I was so so proud of every child on the stage last night! Well done to everyone involved?
