NewsDesk Competition Success
A massive congratulations and well done to Harry (P4) who has been declared the overall Key Stage 1 winner of a recent NewsDesk writing and drawing competition. Harry took on the role of an evacuee child during World War 2 and he packed an imaginary suitcase with all that he would need for a stay in the countryside. We were delighted to learn that Harry and his P4 classmates will be able to enjoy a special Time Steps workshop with Stephanie in the 3rd Term. We look forward to stepping back in time and learning all about World War 2 in an interactive and creative way. Our friends at NewsDesk were so impressed with the standard of all the pupils’ work and Jacob (P5) was Highly commended for his work written from the point of view of an Egyptian archaeologist. Well done boys, superb Literacy and ICT work.
