School Garden In Bloom Over The Summer Holidays

Thank-you to all the parents, grandparents, pupils and staff who have volunteered and are working hard to weed, water and maintain our school garden over the summer months. We have been able to harvest lots of potatoes, peas, rhubarb and strawberries. All of the flowers, fruits and vegetables are growing and producing crops. Plenty more peas, broad beans, potatoes, courgettes, onions, peppers and plums still growing and not yet ready to harvest. Lots of colourful photographs to follow soon. If you are passing school, be sure to look out for the sunflowers which were planted by Miss Kyle's class. They look fantastic! I hope they remain intact for September, so that all the boys and girls can enjoy looking at them.
