Chunky Friday!

1st Apr 2019

Become a Newsdesk Reporter for the day! Instead of reading on a Thursday night, the boys and girls have the chance to write a chunky (interesting report) about themselves, what they like to do or are involved in outside of school, or a report on their pet etc. It is entirely up to them what they wish to write about.

Read All About It!

It’s easy to be a Newsdesk reporter!

Simply choose a template, this could be on Microsoft word etc. or simply written (your teacher will give you time to type up on Friday if you don't have a computer at home). You will also need a photograph about what you are reporting on.

Digital Leaders along with Miss Kyle will publish the best (chunky) ones. These will then be uploaded to Newsdesk, an online Newsdesk for school children across Northern Ireland. We have called it chunky Friday as a chunky Kit Kat will be your reward and we want your report to be full of interesting information (there will be other chocolate bars available!)

Please note that the School Reporter articles are read and commented on by children from across Northern Ireland. They are a valuable reading and research resource for other pupils.

Remember to pick a topic that excites you, present it in an interesting way, personalise it, use paragraphs and include a photograph!
